The Solidarity Action Network (SANE) has been working on strengthening cybersecurity for (international) civil society organisations – (I)CSOs – that have faced an increase in digital threats and cyberattacks carried out by malicious actors interested in financial gains and access to sensitive data or identifiable personal information. In partnership with the CyberPeace Institute, SANE has expanded the Solidarity Playbook – a collection of case studies and best practices – to feature a few topical case studies on cybersecurity that share examples of how (I)CSOs have dealt with actual cyberattacks.
CyberSolace invites all its NGO audience to have a look at some of these case-studies in order to obtain some useful guidance on how to improve their cyber reselience. The case-studies may also prove useful to SME organisations in the private sector that maybe at an early stage of maturity in their cybersecurity journey and not yet ready to commit any signnificant budgets or investments in seeking professional cybersecurity consulting.
