The emergency updates that Google issued, up to the week of 14-Apr-22, impact almost three billion users of its Chrome browser as well as those using other Chromium-based browsers, such as Microsoft Edge, Brave and Vivaldi. It is the third such emergency update Google has had to issue for Chrome this year. What’s more this one, like the first, is to fix a high-severity zero-day vulnerability that is already being exploited by attackers.
We advise all CyberSolace clients and audience to consider patching their versions of Google Chrome to minimise any risk of compromise.
