The default should never simply be around IT teams when responding to cyber incidents/crisis, instead, anyone that has the right qualities to absorb, orient, analyse and decide effectively during a critical and evolving situation should be considered. In many cases we find that non technical and non IT personnel are able to coordinate and manage a cyber incident better than those more closely associated with the discipline.
